Clear boundaries

The appointed independent inspection provider performs the inspection and issues the report. The manufacturer remains responsible for the goods and any agreed corrective action. Mon coordinates the inspection request, timing, report handoff and supplier communication. You review the findings and decide whether to accept the result, request further action or approve shipment.

  • Mon does not perform the independent inspection
  • No guarantee that the goods will pass inspection
  • No guarantee that every defect, deviation or compliance issue will be identified
  • No laboratory testing, engineering certification or destination-country compliance approval unless separately arranged
  • No authority to accept, reject or release the shipment on your behalf
  • No guarantee that the supplier will complete corrective action

An inspection report is useful only when the inspection scope reflects the product and the questions you need answered.

Mon coordinates the available requirements with the inspection provider and supplier, keeps the appointment and report handoff organized, and makes reported deviations and supplier responses easier to review before your shipment decision.

Common questions

Before you start

How are sourcing services priced?

You can choose one defined service or combine several stages. Indicative service fees are: Supplier Search & RFQ: USD 199–499 per product or closely related product family; Sample & Prototype Coordination: USD 149–399 per supplier and sample round; Production Follow-up: USD 299–799 per supplier and 30-day production period; Pre-Shipment Inspection Coordination: USD 149–399 per assignment; Complete Project Coordination: 3%–5% of purchase value, subject to an agreed minimum service fee; Equipment and vehicle projects: USD 499–1,499 initiation fee plus a 1%–3% success fee, with a minimum success fee of USD 1,000, and the initiation fee credited against the success fee. The exact scope, deliverables and service fee are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Do you guarantee supplier quality or the lowest price?

Mon helps identify relevant suppliers, organize requirements, compare quotations and coordinate agreed sourcing stages, but does not guarantee the lowest price, supplier performance, product quality, certification, delivery or final project outcome.

Who handles manufacturer export, freight and destination-country import?

Where direct export is available, the manufacturer can export the goods or equipment directly. Mon does not act as the seller, exporter, carrier, freight forwarder or customs broker. Freight may be arranged through your chosen freight forwarder, settled in your country or included in the manufacturer’s commercial arrangement. Mon can coordinate the handover and communication when included in the agreed scope.
