Scope & responsibilities
Know who is responsible for each part before you proceed.
You remain in control of supplier selection, product approval and purchasing decisions. Mon coordinates the agreed sourcing work and keeps confirmed information, unanswered points and next steps visible, while manufacturers and third-party providers remain responsible for their own work.
What you can expect from Mon
- Supplier search based on the product information and commercial requirements you provide
- RFQ coordination and like-for-like quotation comparison
- Follow-up on supplier answers, missing information and points that still need confirmation
- Sample, production and pre-shipment inspection coordination when included in the agreed service scope
- Clear updates on what has been confirmed, what remains open and what decision is needed next
What suppliers and third-party providers are responsible for
- The manufacturer is responsible for its quotation, manufacturing, product conformity, contract, agreed export scope, warranty and after-sales commitments.
- An independent inspection provider performs any agreed inspection and issues its own findings or report.
- The freight forwarder or carrier is responsible for the transportation services it agrees to provide.
Decisions that remain with you
You select the supplier and approve the specification, sample, order and commercial terms. You also decide whether inspection findings are acceptable and whether the goods may proceed to shipment. Destination-country import, certification, registration, compatibility and compliance decisions remain with you and your appointed local professionals.
What Mon does not claim or provide
- A guarantee of the lowest price, supplier quality, delivery date or final order outcome
- Engineering approval or legal, tax, customs, safety or regulatory conclusions
- Manufacturing, independent inspection, freight forwarding, customs clearance, warranty or after-sales service in Mon’s own name
- Approval of a product, supplier, inspection result or shipment on your behalf
Payments and third-party costs
Mon provides the agreed service-fee and payment information directly. Sample, inspection or other agreed third-party costs may be included in the project quotation and collected by Mon or the supplier for onward payment. Freight may be settled by you in your country or included in the manufacturer’s commercial arrangement, depending on the agreed transaction.
