A documented process from product requirement to supplier decision.
See what is being compared, what remains open and what needs your decision—from the first supplier search through samples, production follow-up, inspection and shipment handover.
1. Clarify the requirement and scope
Start with a drawing, sample, model number, product link, photo or short description. Mon clarifies the product, quantity, quality expectations, commercial priorities and the stages where you need support.
The scope, deliverables and service fee are confirmed before the agreed work begins.
2. Search for relevant suppliers and issue an RFQ
Suppliers are selected according to the product, manufacturing process, quantity and other requirements you provide. The same core product and commercial questions are sent to each relevant supplier where practical.
This helps reduce quotations based on different materials, configurations, quantities or trade terms.
3. Compare the responses and keep open points visible
Supplier responses are organized so you can compare the price basis, MOQ, sample or tooling costs, lead time, Incoterms, payment terms and other commercial conditions.
Missing information, different assumptions and unanswered questions remain clearly marked instead of being presented as confirmed facts.
4. You select the supplier and approve the next step
You review the comparison and decide which supplier, product version and commercial basis to pursue. Mon can clarify differences and coordinate follow-up, but you make the final supplier, sample, order and purchasing decisions.
5. Add coordination where the project needs it
After a supplier is selected, you can add sample and prototype coordination, production follow-up, pre-shipment inspection coordination or shipment-handover support as needed.
These stages are scoped separately. They are not automatically included in every sourcing request.
Who is responsible at each stage?
- Mon, the sourcing agent: supplier search, RFQs, quotation comparison and agreed coordination.
- The manufacturer: quotation, samples, manufacturing, product quality, contract performance, export and warranty obligations.
- The independent inspection provider: inspection according to the confirmed scope and issuance of the inspection report.
- The freight forwarder or logistics provider: booking, pickup, transport and agreed shipping documentation.
- You, the buyer: supplier selection, specification and sample approval, order placement, inspection acceptance, import compliance and final shipment decisions.
Mon coordinates the agreed work but does not act as the manufacturer, exporter, carrier, customs broker or independent inspection provider.
